Youth connecting with youth to prevent AIDS
Rural Voluntary Counselling & Testing
|
Most of the peer educators have now finished their first 10 week series of Bible studies but, due to popular demand, have had to repeat various sessions so that those who missed them the first time round didn’t miss out! Now the first church, Chidzala, has held their AIDS awareness event in order to connect with their local community,
using drama and song, complete with a little VCT (voluntary counseling and test) centre
made of bamboo fence (pictured) and several more are planned for February and
March. Some places have delayed their event because other churches have approached
them and asked them to run the course for their youth as well so they will do that
first.
